Eight years ago, John and Missy Madia made a decision that would define their future. After decades in beauty, John starting in 1981 and Missy licensed as a Cosmetologist in 1994 and Esthetician in 1996, they recognized something important: you can’t represent everything well.  So they chose to specialize.

MRM Beauty Sales was born with a clear mission, represent nail brands deeply, intentionally, and with pride. Today, they maintain a carefully curated portfolio of eight nail-focused companies, ensuring minimal overlap and maximum expertise.

Missy’s background in the salon and as an educator in nail, skin, waxing, and eyelash extensions gives her a unique perspective. She understands how products are actually used. She understands the professional behind the table. John’s decades in distribution, national sales leadership, and manufacturer representation provide the strategic foundation. Combined, they bring 78 years of industry experience to every account they serve.

When MRM began working with KUPA Inc. two years ago in the Midwest, it was built on shared values: specialization, performance, and respect for the professional nail technician. Growth followed naturally territory by territory until today, MRM proudly represents KUPA nationwide. This expansion isn’t about size. It’s about alignment. At KUPA, we believe in partners who understand the craft, who value long-term relationships, and who see this industry the way we do, not as a transaction, but as a career path that empowers professionals every day.
